Here are 4 tips that should take your Stories from ‘Oh No’ to ‘Whoa, Bro’.

  1. Get interactive! Using the interactive elements within a Story (think stickers, polls, questions, mentions, hashtags and more) will get your audience engaging with you, sharing your content and watching from start to finish.
  1. Get personal! Stories are a great driver of personal connection. Try going LIVE for 5 minutes once a week, and chat to your audience about you, something that happened in your business or introduce your staff. And yes, you still have to keep it professional.
  1. Where possible, use a call to action (CTA). If you’ve done a LIVE Story, talking about an upcoming sale, then give you audience a CTA. Tell them what you want them to do. Do you want them to attend the sale? Tell them so. Want them to visit your website to buy online? Tell them so. Whatever you want your audience to do, let them know!
  1. Shoot your Stories in portrait to optimise it for mobile. Shooting in portrait means your Story will fill the whole screen, which is what you want!
