I believe a proactive leader should address challenges head-on. Train your mind to always focus on solutions, never the problem. Whenever a challenge comes up, ask yourself, “What can I do to fix this?” This way of thinking helps you stay in control of your thoughts. If you remain calm and composed, your team can also deal with problems efficiently.

You can also integrate feedback into your daily or weekly interactions instead of waiting for annual reviews. Providing constructive feedback helps improve team performance and helps leaders refine their leadership style. 

Tip 10: Lead by Example in Challenging Situations

In times of stress and uncertainty, your actions will speak louder than your words. Leading by example during challenging times will set the standard for your team. Maintain calm, address problems transparently, and show resilience even when it’s hard. When your team sees you acting with integrity and determination, it motivates them to do the same.
