I have practised in the Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Industry for over 15 years and am a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy, and Liquidator.
I am a member of both Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAAANZ) and the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and have experience in all forms of corporate and personal insolvency administrations.
I believe that in most instances early diagnosis and accurate prognosis can foster the best results. All too often, good businesses go by the wayside because the early signs of potential distress have been ignored, or worse, have not been identified at all.
I have had experience dealing with administrations involving the building, hospitality, information technology, accounting, legal, medical, retail and various other industries.
I am a true believer in providing clear and relevant communication to stakeholders and I acknowledge that more often than not things are not always quite as they seem.

I have worked extensively in Outsourcing for over 15 years after the first 2 industries I worked in collapsed and ceased to exist due to the western obsession with paying less money for more product.
Realizing the inevitable progression to globalization I decided the best way to ensure a future career was to actually specialize in working with different cultures and scenarios in the Outsourcing world.
Over the course of this experience I realized that there were a multitude of factors that led to the failure of any outsourcing venture and typically a lack of competence with the employee or supplier was not a key factor.
Outsourcing usually failed due to Communication issues, Cultural Issues or the obsession with cost over value. My expertise allows me to see the inherent opportunities that exist, especially when it comes to Outsourcing for Small Businesses and to direct clients towards a more sustainable model and mindset.

About Colin Anson, CEO and co-founder of image protection platform, pixevety:
Colin Anson is a digital entrepreneur, and the CEO and co-founder of child image protection and photo storage solution, pixevety https://pixevety.com/
In 2012, Colin saw an opportunity to create a unique business within his area of passion, photography. He witnessed first-hand the potential risks and harm the mismanagement of photos can have on children. And he became an advocate for protecting every parent’s right to determine how their child’s photo is used, and protecting every child’s right to safety and digital privacy. After learning of the minefield of privacy laws and the daily stress for schools in managing and sharing the photos of every single student, Colin decided to do something about it. And pixevety was born.
Colin D Ellis is a project leadership specialist with extensive experience in helping organisations to build teams and create cultures that transform the way that organisations deliver projects. He does this by focusing on the people, not the process.
Colin is a leading voice on people-centric project success, is the author of The Conscious Project Leader – a handbook for consistently great project management – and an internationally acclaimed speaker on the need for more leadership in projects. With more than 20 years of project and program management experience in the UK, New Zealand and Australia, Colin has worked with executives and teams across a diversity of sectors including infrastructure, engineering, banking and government agencies.
A former journalist, marketing director, PR consultant and CEO, Colin Kennedy specialises in content marketing strategy and creation. A keynote speaker and workshop trainer in the areas of content marketing, he is particularly interested in the intersection where technology and people meet.
Technology is changing the way we think, communicate and behave – some of it is good, some of it is not so good. For example, companies of any size can now compete on a level playing field, but older people struggle to adapt to constant change; vaccination rates are in decline because activists are better at using Google than the establishment... In this brave new world, how do we keep our humanity? How do we use our natural gifts and talents to prosper, regardless of age or status? How do we live in the age of the iBrain?
These are questions I like to explore.
Colleen likes to keep things creative in all that she does, often using marshmallows as a source of inspiration.
Everyone knows that ongoing learning is essential for both personal and professional success and yet, for many, this means hours of attending dead boring training or completing’ losing the will to live’ eLearning modules. Colleen’s mission is to end tedious professional development while ensuring targeted outcomes for learners and businesses.
Colleen has honed her skills over the last 20 years across multiple industries and locations. Her previous role saw her overseeing the training and development needs of over 60, 000 employees across 13 countries in the APAC region. This enabled honing skills that celebrated diversity and understanding human commonality through learning, and that in the absence of a common language, flip charts and coloured markers can overcome most challenging situations.
After taking a ‘go away package’, in 2019, Colleen founded her own business, Facilitated Training, harnessing her global learning experiences and sharing them through ready to use learning resources, specialising in leadership, mentoring, guest speaking, creative problem solving, filling the gap of high quality, customisable training resources and tools.

After 25+ years of corporate & tech start-ups, I ended up plugged into machines in the hospital’s emergency department.
Knowing that “avoiding” stress in our 24/7 world wasn’t possible, and (and as my life literally depended on it) I needed a solution. I needed to live happy and healthy in a high-stress world (without drugs, medication or running away).
So as an engineer with an MBA, I embarked on a 4 year R&D odyssey, to research and then develop a solution that would “fix” me – a solution that became OnCalm.
So now, as a Stress Coach, I work with people and companies to help them to switch-off stress anytime & live happy & healthy, in our high-stress world and as a public speaker, I help to “spread the word” and talk about stress and its dangers to anyone who’ll listen!

If you had told me that I would end up founding a company that helped other businesses get paid I would not have believed you.
Love and a sense of adventure brought me to the other side of the world where I ended up working for Air New Zealand which I loved. The company had a great supportive culture and I found that I really enjoyed helping people, especially those experiencing the stress of possibly missing a connecting flight.
14 years later I followed my heart and found myself in Australia to be with my partner.
My partner is involved in an industry notorious for not getting paid on time and it was experiencing the stress of not getting paid vicariously through him and his co-workers that the idea of Late Payer List was born. I once again found myself helping people, this time for other reasons.

Ian Lane is a Business Owner, Entrepreneur and World Standard Business Coach who helps business owners get even better – by achieving positive, lasting change in results and behaviour: for themselves, their people and their teams.
As a coach and consultant in ActionCOACH, Ian is recognised in the top 5 % of coaches worldwide. With a degree in Business and Business information systems and 30 years of business ownership experience, Ian’s credibility, experience and qualifications speak for themselves.
With clients growing their businesses by millions of dollars and learning how to take time out of the business, Ian’s success in the field is a fact.
Ian is a successful sportsperson who has completed events such as Ironman, long distance Yacht races, Windsurfing Competition internationally and many other achievements. The determination and resolve it takes to achieve those goals is what Ian brings to the business world.
In recent surveys, I ran amongst business owners, the statistics I found showed that a stunning 80% of business owners are so caught up IN the business, that they don’t have time to do what is needed to grow the business by working ON the business.
Getting past that mindset and realising that there is a different way is what I specialise in.
With a highly profitable business, you the business owner can afford to train the team better. With more profit, you can invest in better systems. And combining the 2 of these you can achieve goals you never thought possible.
My goal is to save the world one business at a time and to do that I choose to help as many businesses as possible become “a commercial, profitable, enterprise that works without you.
Ian likes to keep things simple, so the strategies you apply will be practical and easy to implement in your business … and of course, bring results.

Jenny stumbled into helping people better themselves in the late 90’s. She became a ‘Trainer’ and absolutely loved it. She thought she had found her ‘calling’. Since that time she had unofficially been coaching people in a business sense. In 2016 she stumbled upon Life Coaching and this opened up another facet of coaching to her, now this was her calling! From her first client she saw results and was driven by her own initial success as well as the magnificent changes she saw in her clients. She helps her clients to make transformations beyond their belief by helping them to understand human behavioural – theirs and others and come up with strategies that work for them. An added side effect Jenny’s clients have seen is an improvement in their relationships, life and their career. Jenny does not apologise for this. Life isn’t always easy, Jenny helps her clients to equip themselves to better handle it.

"I provide busy people with the strategy, and just as importantly, the education, the understanding and the support to fulfill their financial goals.
What differentiates me is that I know that busy people need support to follow through on achieving their financial goals. The best strategy is meaningless without action, implementation and review. I want my clients to enjoy their financial journey and not just be worried about the destination (or the paperwork!). Planning your finances should not feel like another obligation or burden in an already busy schedule.
I have been in the finance profession for 17 years working initially as a financial adviser and stockbroker before being employed by some of the country's premiere institutions including Westpac, Macquarie and BT Financial Group. With a love for the industry I have continued my education throughout my career culminating with obtaining my Masters in Applied Finance in 2013."

“My first professional job as as musician was playing organ in an R&B band at a birthday party. We made two bucks each, which seemed a lot of money at the time. Man it was a blast!”
In Kory’s early carrier as a pro, he sang and played piano in the piano bars that accented just about every hotel and club in the Toronto. This was where he learned the music business; performing 6 nights a week, in an environment of thick cigarette smoke and booze.
As an entrepreneur, Kory founded of the Toronto High School for the Performing -an independent school where students combined the study of academics and the performing arts. Graduates include Keanu Reeves ( Matrix) Cree Summer Franks( Different Strokes) Karen Fox the youngest person ever to be accepted into Sarah Lawrence University.
Kory’s latest achievement is the publication of his book, Quiet Determination, 15 ways to break the barriers of your untapped success! Kory attributes his success in life to the mindset and skills he unconsciously acquired during those countless hours of music lessons during his youth.

Recently Kory has returned to York University to realize his life-long dream of becoming fully bilingual in French. He also enrolled in an advanced composition course as well. His goal in this regard is to have access to the wealth of musicians, singers, choirs, and arrangers on campus, to experiment with in his compositions. He also expects to pick up additional tricks of the trade to add to his personal arsenal of composing.

Why is applying for Paid Parental Leave so complicated?
I’m Lisa - an accountant and a mum of two. When my son was born I remember staying up late trying to submit my application for Paid Parental Leave and I couldn’t understand why it was so damn difficult. I’m an Accountant, I should walk all over this! Turns out I’m not the only one who has been driven bloody mad trying to work it all out.
Second time around was much easier. I understood what I was doing and what I could do to get the best results for my situation. As time went on, I noticed that every time a friend was sharing their frustration with me about the Paid Parental Leave process, I realised that I was helping them with every step along the way. Sometimes it even saved them a trip into Centrelink.
With the feedback rolling in from my friends, and even my own husband, I began to see that I had a lot of knowledge on the subject but, more than that, I had a knack for making it...... simple.
I've gone through the websites, expended hours researching it all and I have read the legislation. I now have the solution to avoid all the stress and drama with getting your application completed and get you the money that you are entitled to.
Through my blog and detailed eBook 'Making Sense of Paid Parental Leave' I now have all of the information about what you should know and especially the things that no one tells you about.

Are you a small business owner and looking to reduce staff turnover and increase profits? Over the last 18 years I’ve become totally obsessed with leadership and the impact it has on business results, and perhaps more importantly, the happiness of its people at work and in life. The obsession began when I started my career as a 20 year old in a negative, unwelcoming and unsupportive environment. It was so awful, I’d go home and cry nearly every night. As I shared my story with friends and family I found, I wasn’t the only one who was unhappy in a working environment. After my manager left, and the whole team had resigned, I was given the opportunity to step up as the leader. As a 22 year old, I had very little experience in the business and no leadership skill. All I knew, was how not to do it, so I did the opposite of what my manager had done. With that and a brand new team, we got to work. In the following financial year we turned the business almost $150,000. That was over 18 years ago and as a result, have devoted my career to discovering what it takes to run a sustainable and profitable business with happy and empowered employees. I am now an author, coach and trainer on how to be an effective leader in small business, to reduce staff turnover and increase productivity and profit in small business! Now more than ever we need small business owners to step up and run successful and profitable businesses. Small business employs over 44% of the employed population in Australia, it is the heart beat of our economy. Your commitment to success will determine the future of Australia and our happiness depends on it. *Statistics from the Parliament of Australia

Attitude helps. Maria Bellissimo-Magrin wouldn’t have become the CEO of full-service creative marketing agency Belgrin without it. While you’ll never hear her claiming to be a creative genius, with such a fantastic team at Belgrin backing her, it doesn’t take long for her clients to start throwing this term around.
She started out in the industry 15 years ago and was quickly head hunted by Saatchi & Saatchi. In that time, she’s worked in Sydney, England and Bahrain and for the last eight years she’s been at the helm of Belgrin. She enjoys every aspect of her job, but what she loves is exceeding her client’s wildest expectations. And yes, it doesn’t happen every day, but with her it’s a hell of a lot more common than with anybody else out there.
Having graduated from The University of Sydney, Maria began her career in the recruitment industry at an international recruiting firm – a career that currently spans 21 years.
After earning her stripes as a recruiter, and as a seasoned manager, trainer and mentor, Maria became responsible for the induction and ongoing training of recruitment consultants and internal recruiters throughout Australia/NZ and UK, across a multitude of industries and specialisations.
After working for a number of International Recruiting firms, Maria stepped out on her own creating Thinking Forward. Here Maria and her team provide specialised training not only for Recruiters but also for Internal Recruitment teams and Sales and Leadership teams, concentrating on working with organisations in understanding how to re-engineer their recruitment practices, enabling efficient and successful recruitment across all levels of their organisation.
You know when someone has a burning desire, it doesn't matter what gets in their way, they make it happen. This sums up Maria. From 11, she knew she wanted to be a fashion designer but life conspired to put up many road blocks. Until 2016, when she convinced her husband to use the money from the sale of their home to start Sarsparilly.
Since then she's built a huge following for her colourful and gorgeous designs. It all started from four dresses and a love of fashion.

Over twenty years, Marie Temby became a successful multi-site bakery franchisee. She and her husband, Kym, have now been married for thirty years, raising their two sons. As the case can be for many people around the world, life was always hectic, and overwhelm was a part of each and every day.
Marie went on a search for discovery―not only for herself but for those ahead and following―to find the skills necessary for retrieving the time and balance previously in place that she so desperately wanted again. Not only did she find time and energy to accomplish what she needed and wanted to do, she found success in both her personal and professional life. Most importantly, she discovered a path to daily happiness. Her new goal is now to share this with the world.

Sharing food has always been central to Mark Calabro’s life. Growing up in a large Italian family, Mark had a childhood of witnessing the bonding magic of food – where sharing was caring – and it gave the marketing, sales, and client relationship head an appreciation for the role of good food in bringing people together. And although Mark never pursued a career in the kitchen, he has certainly entered many in the course of selling the hospitality technology solutions he and his co-founder, Shannon Hautot, have developed over the past fifteen years.
Mark is the co-founder of two hospitality technology businesses: HungryHungry and OrderMate. Mark started thinking about and developing food and beverage payment systems while completing a five-year Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering and Applied Science, Multimedia double degree at Swinburne University of Technology.
In 2003, he and his co-founder, Shannon Hautot, outgrew the Melbourne garage they started in and launched OrderMate, a revolutionary POS system for an industry better acquainted with buying a cash register out of a box.
More recently, Mark and Shannon saw an opportunity to enhance the connection between diners and food businesses with HungryHungry, a technology platform that offers venues better control over the customer experience, from ordering for pick-up or delivery to digital menus and contactless ordering at the table, without biting chunks out of their profits.
During COVID HungryHungry has helped over 1,000 venues get online, many of whom had never offered takeaway before. As restrictions, ease and restaurants begin to reopen the business will continue to offer both in-venue contactless menu and ordering options as well as online solutions to enable pick up and delivery to ensure they can support as many restaurants, pubs, and bars around Australia during these challenging times.
